Description
We are looking for a dishwasher to join our family-run mountain hotel, located at an elevation of 1,200 meters in a secluded spot overlooking Zell am See .
About 80 hotel guests (approximately 25% of whom are children)enjoy breakfast and dinner with us. During the day (12:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.), we also serve about 50–80 à la carte guests in our restaurant with its sun terrace.
As a dishwasher at our family-run Jaga-Alm mountain hotel , you’ll work very closely with your colleagues, aswe’re a small team with a strong sense of camaraderie.
Requirements
You will be responsible for various tasks; your duties will include, among other things, the following:
- Washing dishes ( porcelain, plates, bowls, silverware, etc.); a dishwasher is available
- Washing kitchenware ( pots, pans, baking sheets, buffet dishes, etc.); a large dishwasher is available
- Putting away clean dishes
- Preparing ingredients for the kitchen ( peeling and cutting vegetables)
- Maintaining cleanliness in the work area (sink area, mopping the floor, etc.)
A neat and friendly demeanor Good teamwork with colleagues.
Over the past few years, you’ve already gained at least 1–2 years of experience in the Austrian hospitality and restaurant industry .
Direct guest contact is not a major challenge for you, as our kitchen is partially open to the buffet (show kitchen), allowing guests to watch the food being prepared and be impressed by the process.

Offer
- A 6-day workweek (subject to agreement)
- Regular working hours: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. / 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- (9 hours—including a 1-hour break) and fixed days off
