Project Manager for the New Opening of the Children's Hotel & Executive Assistant (m/f/d)

all year round

Österreich, Tirol

Hotel St. Laurentius is a premium employer on HOGASTJOB and therefore very popular among applicants.

Description

A hotel. A new chapter. And maybe your next big project.

The Almhof in Nauders is getting a fresh new look.

An existing traditional hotel is being transformed into a children’s and family hotel—with a new positioning, new offerings, a strong brand identity, and a clear goal: to create a special vacation destination for families in the Tyrolean mountains.

To prepare for and execute this reopening, we’re looking for someone who not only organizes but also thinks proactively, develops ideas, and brings them to life.

As Project Manager for the Children’s Hotel Rebranding and Executive Assistant, you’ll work directly with the management team and oversee the project from the concept phase through the grand opening and beyond.

Requirements

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking less for a specific resume and more for a specific personality.

You’ll be a great fit with us if you:

  • work in a highly organized and structured manner
  • can think creatively at the same time
  • enjoy taking on responsibility
  • drive things forward on your own
  • don’t wait to be told what to do, but instead see for yourself what needs to be done next
  • enjoy working with different people and partners
  • find marketing and branding exciting
  • have a good sense of families, children, and hospitality
  • use digital tools with ease
  • have a very good command of German
  • can communicate confidently in English

Experience in the hospitality industry, tourism, marketing, project management, or HR is a plus.

However, what matters most to us are initiative, organizational skills, and enthusiasm for the project.

Offer

YOUR MISSION

You’ll serve as the management team’s right-hand person—both operationally and strategically —as they build the new children’s hotel.

You’ll work on a wide variety of tasks—from developing the hotel concept to marketing and brand building, all the way to recruiting the future team.

This isn’t just any job—it’s a position for someone who’s eager to help shape a hotel from the ground up.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

New Opening & Project Management

  • Collaborating on the development of the new children’s hotel concept
  • Coordinating and overseeing the individual steps leading up to the grand opening in summer 2027
  • Creating and tracking project and action plans
  • Preparing decision-making documentation for senior management
  • Coordinating schedules, tasks, and projects
  • Ensuring that ideas are actually implemented

Concept & Product Development

Together with senior management, you’ll develop the future guest experience.

This includes, for example:

  • Children’s & family offerings
  • Childcare
  • Indoor & Outdoor Play Areas
  • Family experiences
  • Dining
  • Rooms & Family Offers
  • Weekly Programs
  • Service Concepts
  • Development of Our Mascots and Adventure World
  • Collaborations and Partnerships

In doing so, we keep asking ourselves one question:

What makes a family vacation with us so special that children want to come back—and parents, too?

Marketing & Brand Building

You’ll help build the new hotel brand from the very beginning.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • Contributing to positioning and brand strategy
  • Developing the marketing plan for the grand opening
  • Coordinating the website, social media, and content
  • Collaborating with graphic design, web, photography, video, and marketing agencies
  • Planning pre-opening and opening campaigns
  • Development of creative marketing ideas
  • Establishing partnerships
  • Support with PR and communications

Recruiting & Employer Branding

A children’s hotel thrives on the people who work there.

That’s why building our new team is a key part of your role.

You will assist with or be responsible for:

  • Planning staffing needs in collaboration with management
  • Creating and posting job listings
  • Candidate management
  • Organizing and conducting job interviews
  • Active sourcing and creative recruiting initiatives
  • Building our employer brand
  • Preparing the onboarding process
  • Supporting team building through to the grand opening
