Bartender (m/f/d) wanted for an exclusive ski lodge in the Zillertal—the workplace is accessible only by skis.
Location: Wedelhütte or Albergo, Hochzillertal Ski Area, Tyrol, Austria
2 boutique hotels with 5-star comfort | 26 and 16 beds, respectively | Daytime operations with high guest volume

About us:
Our ski lodges are located at over 2,000 meters above sea level in the heart of the Hochzillertal ski resort in the beautiful Zillertal Valley. We combine alpine lodge charm with upscale service and place a high value on quality, hospitality, and warmth.
Your Responsibilities
- Bar Operations: Ensuring smooth operations at the bar, including the preparation and presentation of mixed drinks, coffee, and other beverages.
- Guest Service: Ensuring high guest satisfaction through friendly and professional service, as well as expert advice on beverage selection.
- Mise en Place: Preparing and organizing the bar to ensure efficient service.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring the consistently high quality of all beverages and adherence to recipes.
- Cash Management: Responsible for the accounting and management of the bar’s cash register.
- Hygiene & Safety: Adhering to hygiene regulations and safety standards at the bar.
- Lodge Experience: Actively contributing to the lodge experience as the “calling card” of the Wedelhütte or the Albergos
Requirements
- Work Experience: Several years of relevant experience as a bartender—ideally in upscale dining establishments.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of preparing cocktails and other beverages, as well as bar and cash register operations; knowledge of wine.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in German and/or English, as well as the ability to remain calm even in challenging situations.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to integrate quickly into an existing team.
- Appearance: A well-groomed appearance and a positive demeanor.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and reliability.
- Flexibility: Ability to handle stress and adapt, especially during peak hours or when high-alpine weather conditions change.
- Personal Responsibility: A high degree of independence, a strong sense of responsibility, and a proactive approach to work.
- Attention to detail and aesthetic sense: A keen eye for detail as well as a sense of aesthetics and appealing presentation.
- Commute: For winter sports enthusiasts, the commute can be made by ski or snowboard—including first and last runs on the empty slopes.

- The gross salary for a 6-day workweek is at least €3,100. Pay is based on the collective bargaining agreement (Hospitality & Food Service), with a willingness to pay above the standard rate for candidates with the appropriate qualifications.
