Description
The Berwanger Hof is a family-run 4-star hotel with a long-standing tradition; it was built in 1842 and has grown steadily ever since. The hotel has 42 rooms spread across three buildings: the main building, our guesthouse, and the country house. Our restaurant, which is also open to à la carte guests, is located in the main building. Spanning approximately 1,000 square meters, our AlpenSpa offers a pampering area with a panoramic swimming pool, a sauna and wellness area, and seven treatment rooms.
We are looking for a new team member to join our service team:
Chef de Rang ( m/f/d)
Start date: Mid-December 2026; permanent employment contract
Requirements
We are looking for someone who
- You have completed training as a hotel manager or restaurant manager
- Experience in the hotel and restaurant industry
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Enjoyment of the job
- Motivation
- The ability to learn
- Experience in your field
- You speak German fluently (native speaker or language proficiency level of at least B2, preferably C1/C2)
- A completed vocational training program in the hospitality industry would be ideal
We expect you to be proficient in spoken and written German.
Your Responsibilities
- Food and beverage service in the in-house dining and à la carte areas
- Managing the service station and serving as the point of contact for guests
- Active promotion of food and beverages
- Daily mise en place
- Cleaning the restaurant area as part of a team (e.g., dusting, vacuuming, etc.)
- Responsible handling of all products
- You work as part of a team and are a team player
- Full shifts and part shifts available
Experience
1 Jahr Work experience
Language skills
German B2 (good intermediate level)
Work permit
Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)
