Österreich, Oberösterreich

Description

Off to new horizons! On the Beletage at Hotel Post am See, you’ll discover a whole new world of culinary delights. Join us as we redefine indulgence, hospitality, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Do whatever you want—nothing is a must—at the new Living-room by the lake. Foodies and bar lovers can look forward to casual dining with a focus on sharing. That’s the philosophy behind Belétage.

Cosmopolitan with regional roots, an open kitchen featuring a wood-fired grill, and a bar that serves as an urban hotspot. The atmosphere is opulent and lavish. Moving away from traditional half-board dining toward a deliberately stress-free experience. No constraints, no “too much” or “too little,” no “too early” or “too late.”

As a Chef de Rang, you are a key point of contact for our guests. You combine a professional approach to service with a warm, personal presence and ensure that our guests feel welcome from the very first moment.

You’ll be working in an environment where cuisine, wine, and bar culture come together with the atmosphere—and you’ll play an active role in shaping this experience anew every day.

What you'll be doing with us:

  • Managing Your Service Station Independently
  • Warm hospitality and personalized assistance for our domestic and international guests
  • Expert recommendations for dishes, as well as wine and beverage pairings
  • Close collaboration with our Head of Wine & Service, Kathi Gnigler, on the further development of beverage culture
  • Execution of all service procedures—from mise en place to billing
  • Ensuring a smooth, high-quality service process
  • Compliance with Our Quality and Hygiene Standards
  • Sharing Your Knowledge with Younger Team Members

What you bring to the table:

  • You already have several years of experience in the fine dining sector.
  • Additional qualifications in wine and beverage culture are a plus.
  • You stand out for your strong communication skills and enthusiasm for customer service.
  • You have a very good command of German and English.
  • A strong commitment to service, excellent manners, and a well-groomed appearance come naturally to you.
  • In this role, you will work independently and efficiently.
  • You identify with the philosophy of Gröller Hospitality and enjoy bringing our brand to life for our guests.

What to Expect:

  • Full board provided at work, even on your days off
  • Accommodations at our employee hotel by the lake, with a terrace and parking
  • Customized training and professional development opportunities to support your professional and personal growth; room to contribute your own ideas and actively shape the workplace
  • Regular employee events that strengthen team cohesion
  • Employee Benefits at Our Facilities: Working on Lake Traunsee—with a wide range of recreational activities right on your doorstep
  • A respectful and supportive team environment that embodies quality, hospitality, and camaraderie
