Requirements
We are looking for a new team member to join our small kitchen staff starting in mid-May. We are seeking a chef who has a passion for Austrian cuisine, is creative, and keeps up with modern trends. We aim to offer our hotel guests an attractive breakfast buffet, a small afternoon buffet with cakes, an evening salad buffet, and three set menus featuring freshly prepared main courses, as well as various other buffets and much more. We expect: • Completed apprenticeship as a chef and several years of professional experience • Ability to handle pressure and remain calm under stress • Polite, well-groomed, and professional demeanor • Ability to work independently, responsibly, and cost-consciously Skills: *Team player *Ability to handle pressure *Flexibility *Motivating colleagues *Willingness to pursue further training Profile: *Completed training as a chef *Experience in fine dining is a plus *Structured and independent work style *High sense of quality and responsibility *Very good knowledge of HACCP guidelines *Good German language skills Responsibilities: *Acting as a substitute for and supporting the head chef *Coordinating kitchen operations in the head chef’s absence *Assisting with menu creation and planning *Contributing to the development of new dishes *Preparing meals *Ensuring optimal production workflow *Conducting quality control of meals *Monitoring compliance with HACCP standards
