Catering Manager (m/f/d)
Summer / Winter Season
Österreich, Tirol
Description
You love authentic cuisine, high-quality ingredients, and dishes you're proud of.
Cooking is more than just a job to you.
It’s the joy of creating something special from high-quality ingredients—with passion, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
At the Gaspingerhof, we combine regional Tyrolean cuisine with international influences and offer high-quality culinary experiences. We focus on seasonal, high-quality ingredients, many of which come directly from our region.
At our restaurant, traditional dishes have just as much a place on the menu as modern, international cuisine—what matters most to us are flavor, quality, and true culinary craftsmanship.
Here's what to expect
As a garde manger, you’re responsible for the cold dishes, and with creativity, precision, and a keen eye, you ensure that even the first course leaves guests wanting more.
Your focus will be on preparing cold appetizers, salads, buffets, and other cold dishes. In this role, you'll work closely with our head chef and the entire kitchen team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Independently managing the garde-manger station
- Preparation and presentation of cold appetizers, salads, and cold dishes
- Preparation and service of our salad and antipasti buffets
- Production of dressings, marinades, spreads, and other ingredients
- Creative and appealing presentation of our dishes
- Professional mise en place and organization of your workstation
- Expert preparation of fresh, seasonal, and regional products
- Treating Food with Care and Respect
- Ensuring a consistently high level of quality
- Compliance with our quality, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Contributing to the development of new appetizers and dishes
- Professional collaboration with the entire kitchen team
What You Bring to the Table
You have completed your training as a chef and, ideally, have already gained experience as a garde manger or in a similar kitchen position in the upscale hotel or restaurant industry.
You work neatly, in an organized manner, reliably, and independently, and have a good sense of taste, quality, and presentation.
Especially in the cold kitchen, what matters to you isn’t just what ends up on the plate, but also how it’s presented. You work with precision and enjoy turning high-quality ingredients into something special—both in taste and appearance.
Above all, you enjoy cooking, appreciate high-quality ingredients, and want to actively contribute your ideas to our kitchen team.
Here's what we offer you
We want you to feel comfortable not only in our kitchen but also as part of our team. That’s why we offer fair working conditions, a supportive work environment, and attractive employee benefits.
- Fair and performance-based compensation —based on qualifications and experience, preferably in accordance with a collective bargaining agreement
- Regular working hours and reliable scheduling
