To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for an adult
APPRENTICE CHEF (m/f/d) Full-time 40 hours // 5 days
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
The Hotel & Villa Auersperg is a privately run boutique hotel in the center of Salzburg. In our kitchen, we value good products, regional origins, and clean craftsmanship. Breakfast is a central part of our hotel, complemented by smaller dishes and events. We work in a friendly team with clear processes and a respectful atmosphere.
YOUR TRAINING
During your 3-year apprenticeship as a chef, you will learn all the basic areas of hotel cuisine:
- Preparation work (mise en place)
- Processing and preparation of food
- Arranging and presenting food
- Assistance with breakfast and daily business
- Compliance with hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
- Basics of product knowledge and storage
- Collaboration within the kitchen team
You will be gradually introduced to your tasks and will be actively involved from the outset.

- Interest in the culinary profession and food
- Willingness to learn and reliability
- Ability to work in a team and work neatly
- Physical stamina
- Well-groomed appearance and a sense of cleanliness
- Completed compulsory schooling
- Legal age (18 years)

Requirements
If you have completed the 9th grade with good grades, have VERY GOOD German language skills, enjoy working in a team and interacting with people, and are highly motivated and eager to learn, then you've come to the right place! A minimum age of 18 is required.
