We are currently seeking a passionate pastry chef (m/f/d) for our pastry team who enjoys high-quality craftsmanship, creativity, and a variety of tasks.
At the Romantikhotel Im Weissen Rössl on Lake Wolfgang, you’ll find a diverse work environment with a variety of culinary areas—from classic Austrian pastries and half-board desserts to the patisserie of our 3-Hauben gourmet restaurant, Poll’s Kaiserterrasse.
Your Responsibilities
With us, you won’t just be responsible for a single area of the pastry kitchen; you’ll have the opportunity to put your full range of culinary skills to work.
Requirements
With us, you won't just be responsible for a single area of pastry making—you'll have the opportunity to put all your culinary skills to work.
Your varied responsibilities will include, among other things:
- Creating and preparing our half-board desserts
- Working in the pastry kitchen of our 3-toque gourmet restaurant, Poll’s Kaiserterrasse
- Preparing Austrian classics at the lakeside restaurant, particularly Kaiserschmarren and Salzburger Nockerl
- Preparing our daily selection of cakes and pastries —comparable to the assortment found in a small pastry shop
- Production of pralines, chocolates, and other sweet specialties
- Preparing products for our in-house shop, “Rösslerei”
- Attractive presentation and meticulous preparation of all products
Experience
1 Jahr Work experience
Language skills
German C2 (excellent knowledge)
Work permit
EU citizens are given priority (no permit required)

- Completed training as a pastry chef, patissier, or a comparable qualification
- A passion for high-quality pastries and traditional Austrian pastry-making
- Creativity, a commitment to quality, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- Team spirit and a passion for collaborating with the kitchen and service staff
- Experience in fine dining or the hospitality industry is a plus
- Willingness to learn about and help shape various areas of our pastry shop
