Description
Head Chef (m/f/d) – Half-Board / À la Carte
To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking a dedicated and creative Head Chef (m/f/d) for our hotel, offering half-board during the summer months and à la carte service in the winter.
Your responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for kitchen organization and operations
- Planning and executing varied menus as part of the half-board service
- Leading, motivating, and training the kitchen team
- Ordering, monitoring, and managing inventory
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
- Creative development of our culinary offerings
Your Profile:
- Completed training as a chef and several years of professional experience in a management position
- Experience in the half-board/hotel catering sector is a plus
- Organizational skills, ability to work in a team, and a sense of responsibility
- Creativity and a passion for high-quality cuisine
- Business acumen and cost awareness

Requirements

- Completed training as a chef
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in a managerial position
- Experience in half-board or hotel kitchen operations
- In-depth knowledge of inventory management, cost calculation, and kitchen organization
- Leadership skills and experience managing a team
- High standards of quality and hygiene (HACCP)
- Creativity and a knack for designing varied menus
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
- Good German language skills; additional languages are a plus
- A professional demeanor and a passion for the restaurant industry
