Description

Head Chef (m/f/d) – Half-Board / À la Carte

To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking a dedicated and creative Head Chef (m/f/d) for our hotel, offering half-board during the summer months and à la carte service in the winter. 

Your responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for kitchen organization and operations
  • Planning and executing varied menus as part of the half-board service
  • Leading, motivating, and training the kitchen team
  • Ordering, monitoring, and managing inventory
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and quality standards (HACCP)
  • Creative development of our culinary offerings

Your Profile:

  • Completed training as a chef and several years of professional experience in a management position
  • Experience in the half-board/hotel catering sector is a plus
  • Organizational skills, ability to work in a team, and a sense of responsibility
  • Creativity and a passion for high-quality cuisine
  • Business acumen and cost awareness

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Completed training as a chef
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally in a managerial position
  • Experience in half-board or hotel kitchen operations
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management, cost calculation, and kitchen organization
  • Leadership skills and experience managing a team
  • High standards of quality and hygiene (HACCP)
  • Creativity and a knack for designing varied menus
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
  • Good German language skills; additional languages are a plus
  • A professional demeanor and a passion for the restaurant industry
