Head Chef (m/f/d)

The family-run 4-star Hotel Zauchensee Zentral is located in the heart of a unique winter sports region and is known for its warm hospitality, personalized service, and fine dining.

In our spacious main kitchen, we treat about 50 to 80 guests—including children—to a varied 4-course half-board menu every day. To lead and develop our kitchen team, we’re looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for good food, strong organizational skills, and a love for teamwork.

Your Responsibilities

• Management, organization, and coordination of the kitchen staff
• Creating and Organizing Work Schedules
• Planning and Developing Varied Menus
• Ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly
• Responsible management of purchasing and ordering goods
• Product Quality Control and Inventory Management
• Implementation and monitoring of HACCP guidelines and all hygiene and quality standards
• Professional support and professional development for the kitchen team
• Active participation in day-to-day kitchen operations

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Completed training in the culinary field
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in a similar position
• Experience in leading and organizing a kitchen team
• Good knowledge of German
• An independent, structured, and responsible approach to work
• Commitment, creativity, and a passion for the job
• Ability to work as part of a team, motivation, and flexibility
• High performance and reliable operation, even during peak periods
• EU citizenship is an advantage, as no work permit is required
