Welcome to the VALARA team - the Alpine Art Hotel in the Zillertal!
To strengthen our team we are looking for a RESTAURANT MANAGER (f/m/d) with organizational talent, leadership quality & enthusiasm for culinary delights.
Your tasks:
- Coordination & organization of the entire service area to ensure a smooth process
- Ensuring good communication in service and the other departments
- Further training of employees
- Optimal duty roster planning for the service & bar area
- Daily table plan creation
- Reception, seating and professional advice for guests
- Responsibility for the set standard of service
- fast and guest-oriented handling of complaints
- Wine & beverage service
- Serving food
- Breakfast service
- Knowledge of the food and drinks menu and wine list
- Set-up and supervision of various buffets
- Provision of the required mise-en-place
- Office work (cutlery, glasses, etc.)
- Carrying out general cleaning work
- Compliance with HCCP guidelines
- Duty at the hotel bar when the barmaid is free

Requirements:
- Completed training in the hotel or catering industry
- several years of professional experience, preferably in the upscale hotel industry
- good knowledge of German & English
- Specialist knowledge of drinks & wine, sommelier an advantage
- independent & autonomous way of working
- Service orientation & organizational talent
- Team player, sociable, flexible, able to work under pressure, communication skills, able to deal with conflict & enjoy the job
- Discretion & trustworthiness
