Restaurant/Bar Manager (m/f/d)

Full-time, permanent position

Your Role: Director of Service

As Restaurant/Bar Manager, you lead the team. You set the structure and pace, coordinate operations, and ensure that quality shines through in every “scene.”

Your Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for service in the restaurant and bar areas
Ensuring a consistently high level of service and quality
Attention to detail, timing, and atmosphere
Discreet and professional handling of guest requests and concerns
Serving as a role model in interactions with guests: warm, confident, and attentive
Organizing workflows and shift schedules
Leading, training, and developing the service team
Close collaboration with the kitchen, front desk, and management
Supervising and training apprentices and interns

Requirements

Your Profile:

Several years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the 5-star hotel industry
A strong understanding of high-quality, contemporary, and excellent service
In-depth knowledge of wine and a passion for actively advising guests
Strong leadership skills, organizational talent, and a motivational approach to working with employees
Professional demeanor, ability to handle pressure, and a high degree of personal responsibility; well-groomed appearance
Very good command of German and English; knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus

Work permit: Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)

Salary type: gross
Additional salary information: The minimum gross salary under the collective bargaining agreement is €2,641.00 per month on a full-time basis. Depending on qualifications and relevant professional experience, a significant premium is provided.
