Description
Your responsibilities:
- Managing the reception team, including staff scheduling and shift planning
- Providing personalized service to our guests from check-in to check-out, including reservations, billing, and guest communication
- Ensuring compliance with our service standards at the reception desk
- Invoicing and accounts receivable management
- Protel hotel software
- Reservation processing from quote to deposit management with smart host
- Prestay, Poststay
- Supporting OTAs
- Ensuring first-class, warm service—every detail counts
- Room quality control and coordination with all hotel departments
- Collaboration on optimizing workflows and processes—your ideas are welcome
- Flexible scheduling, including weekends
Requirements
What we expect from you:
- Either several years of experience at the front desk of comparable hotels or prior experience in a front desk management role
- Enjoyment of the job
- A guest-oriented mindset
- Good command of English. Knowledge of other languages (especially French) is a plus
- A positive demeanor and a communicative personality
- Ability to work under pressure and flexibility
- Proficiency in standard Office programs such as Word and Excel. Knowledge of the PMS Protel is a plus.
