Description
- You’ll assist the head chef to ensure everything runs smoothly in the kitchen and fill in for him on his days off
- You enjoy staying informed about emerging trends in the market and actively incorporating them into the planning, recipe creation, and development of new dishes
- You help ensure that we meet our high quality standards
- You will independently manage your own station within your area of expertise
- You are responsible for providing technical training to your commis chefs and apprentices
- You take the preparation and cooking of a high-quality menu for granted
- You actively participate in the development of new dishes and ideas and help maintain and improve our high standards of quality
- Your responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with our strict HACCP standards and quality guidelines
Requirements
- You have completed vocational training as a chef and, ideally, have some leadership experience
- You’re currently in a supporting role and want to take the next step in your career
- You have a strong commitment to quality, hygiene, and service
- You have a cost-conscious mindset and pay close attention to detail
- You have in-depth expertise in your role and enjoy sharing your knowledge
- You speak German and/or English at a very high level
- You’re a team player
- You are highly goal-oriented and maintain a clear overview even in stressful situations
- You are known for your independent thinking, dedication, and professionalism
