Description

We are a family-run hotel business with 90 rooms in the heart of the Mostviertel region and combine tradition with modern hospitality. Sustainability, regionality and quality are our focus - and we are looking for people who want to go this way with us.

To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a janitor (m/f/d) with heart, reliability and manual skills to ensure the smooth running of our hotel resort.

Requirements

Typical tasks of a gardening assistant:

  • Flower bed maintenance: weeding, loosening the soil, hoeing, planting flowers.
  • Tree and shrub care: trimming hedges, pruning shrubs, caring for trees.
  • Watering: watering plants and lawns.
  • Seasonal work: Raking leaves in autumn, winter service (snow removal).
  • Supportive activities: Disposing of green waste, cleaning paths and terraces, transporting soil or gravel. 

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness: Working outdoors, even in hot or wet conditions.
  • Specialist knowledge: Basic knowledge of plants and their care is an advantage.
  • Handling equipment: Experience with lawnmowers and hedge trimmers.
  • Reliability and initiative: Ability to work independently, even without direct supervision. 

     

  • Outdoor maintenance:

    Maintenance of gardens, emptying trash cans, putting back lounge chairs, cleaning paths, performing winter services (snow removal, gritting), and ensuring the cleanliness of the entire hotel grounds. 

  • Waste management:

    Ensuring waste separation and timely disposal of waste in accordance with guidelines. 

  • Material management:

    Receiving, checking, and storing materials and goods. 

  • Shuttle service:

    Pick-up and drop-off at the train station with an electric bus. 

  • Driver's license B (ideally also e-bus experience or willingness to undergo training).
  • Reliability, ability to work independently 
  • Friendly, service-oriented manner when interacting with guests.
