The Thermenhotel Karawankenhof is a modern 4-star hotel ideally suited for families, wellness enthusiasts, and sports lovers, but also welcomes international business guests. The hotel features a direct connecting corridor to the KärntenTherme, 89 rooms and suites, a modern lounge and reception area, two seminar rooms, and a restaurant that operates on a half-board basis.
Requirements
Your profile:
- Completed relevant vocational training (HGA) and initial work experience as a receptionist.
- A confident and professional demeanor.
- Excellent written and spoken German, as well as good English and preferably Italian skills (or a willingness to learn Italian)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office
- Warmth and enthusiasm for working with guests
- Professional handling of complaints; willingness to participate in complaint management training
Your responsibilities:
- Professional reception and care of our domestic and international guests
- Guest check-in and check-out, and invoicing
- Processing reservations and maintaining the booking systems
- Receiving and handling phone calls and emails
- Handling guest complaints and special requests
- Cash management and reconciliation of daily revenue
- Close collaboration with the Housekeeping, Service, Events, and Management departments
- General administrative tasks at the front office
- Language skills
