Description
You will support our service team with breakfast and dinner service on part-time shifts, as well as on rotating shifts from approximately 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.:
- Starting at 7:30 a.m., you’ll welcome guests with a smile
- Our hotel guests can enjoy breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Clear tables, clean them, and set them again
- Fold napkins
- Vacuuming
- Storing dishes
- Set tables for dinner
- Set up the lunch buffet
- Serving drinks to hotel guests
- After that, you’ll enjoy your free afternoon with at least 4 hours off
- Evening service, depending on the schedule, until approximately 9:30 p.m.
Lunch shift starting at 1:00 p.m.
- Assisting hotel guests
- Taking drink orders—beverage service
- Processing orders at the register
- 3:00 p.m.: Clear away the lunch soup and salad and set up the cake buffet
- Continuously clearing guests’ tableware
- Restock beverages at the hotel bar
- Ongoing service tasks
Tasks
Duties during the evening shift:
- Serving food and beverages
- Plate service (5–6-course menus)
- Themed buffet once a week
- Beverage service in the lobby and bar areas
- Starting around 8:30 p.m., setting tables for breakfast, including setting up the buffet
- Other service tasks
- Sorting cutlery
- Storing dishes
- Dusting and vacuuming
- Folding napkins
- General tidiness and cleanliness in the service area
- Washing glasses
Requirements
- As a Commis de Rang, you are responsible for ensuring that service runs smoothly
- Friendly, dedicated, and guest-oriented employees who enjoy working with guests
- Excellent manners and a good command of German
- Experience in the service industry is a plus, but not required
- Proper and careful handling of food
- Absolute reliability and punctuality
- Cleanliness is important to you
- Experience serving food and beverages
Experience
1 Jahr Work experience
< 1 Jahr Leadership experience
Language skills
German C1 (advanced knowledge)
Work permit
Must have a work permit (or be an EU citizen)

- 6-day workweek with 48 hours (a 5-day workweek is also possible upon request)
- Performance-based compensation in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement, with a willingness to pay above the standard rate depending on education and professional experience
