We are the Perbersdorfer Heuriger & Hotel in 3364 Neuhofen an der Ybbs, Lower Austria - Mostviertel - a family-run business with heart and handshake quality. Our hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle, in the middle of the countryside - a place where you can arrive and feel at home.

We combine cozy inn culture with a small 3* hotel (30 beds) and offer our guests a warm piece of Mostviertel - whether at breakfast, à la carte or at one of our many family celebrations.

Long-term employment

• We are expressly not looking for short-term seasonal staff.
• Our goal is a permanent position for 2-5 years or longer.

2. Location & accessibility

• Location: Neuhofen an der Ybbs (near Amstetten).
• Public transportation is limited, therefore a car is almost necessary or with a public transport service at a reasonable price
• Nearest train station: Ulmerfeld-Hausmening approx. 5 minutes away by car, or Amstetten 15 minutes away
• From there approx. 50 minutes to Vienna.

3. Working environment

• Classic Austrian inn & hotel, no half-board operation.
• Focus: à la carte operation, regional cuisine, family management - boss - is in the kitchen, chef - is service, we are all on a first-name basis
• Very busy at the weekend, lots of family celebrations
• We have a lot of a la carte business - you should be fit in this area
• We mainly work on weekdays from 15-16.00, Saturday and Sunday from 10-12.00 until closing time
• We don't normally have a part-time shift, in 2026 there might be one from time to time as we will have a big special exhibition in the neighboring village and expect some lunch buses during the week.

5. Accommodation

• Single room - bathroom and kitchen are shared with a 2nd person, the apartment has a terrace
• Pets are unfortunately not allowed, we have rented the apartment and the landlord has forbidden them
• Meals are included during the services

6. German language skills

• Knowledge . B. B1-B2 in service necessary due to guest contact - many of our guests are local

8. Team & company size

• We are a team of about 20-25 people, in summer we are more employees
• We also work with temporary staff from the surrounding area
• There are 2 full-time staff and one 30-hour member of staff in service, plus a food server and possibly a seasonal worker in summer

9. Course of the season

• We are open all year round, Christmas we are closed from 23.12 - at least over the holidays
• At Easter we are closed Monday to Friday
• We are closed for 1 week in February
• In August we are closed for 2 weeks
• During the year we are closed on 5 weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

10. Remuneration

• Net wage is € 1.900 - 14x per year plus vacation and Christmas bonus - as prescribed in Austria - 5 days - 40 hours per week
• The tips go into a pot and are divided every day - a small portion goes to the kitchen, the rest is divided according to the hours worked.

11. Trial days

• We would like to invite you for a trial weekend to see if you get along well with the team and the team with you
• This will of course be remunerated and we would be happy to pay you immediately.

We would therefore like to emphasize once again that we are not looking for a short-term solution, but a permanent position for at least 2-5 years or longer.
