Description
Your passion. Your craft. Your kitchen.
For our kitchen at the ALMGUT 4*S, we’re looking for a sous chef who is passionate, creative, and dedicated to their craft. You’ve mastered your craft, work with precision, a focus on quality, and organization, and enjoy contributing your own ideas.
Then you’ve come to the right place—we look forward to meeting you!
As a sous chef, you’ll support our kitchen management in planning and organizing daily kitchen operations, preparing and executing our menus, and developing seasonal dishes and creative daily specials. We place special emphasis on fresh, regional, and high-quality ingredients, which we transform into exceptional culinary experiences through artisanal skill and modern ideas.
You pay close attention to product quality, proper preparation, and appealing presentation, and you’re eager to contribute your own ideas and culinary expertise.
You’ll actively participate in day-to-day kitchen operations, supporting the head chef with overall kitchen management and standing in for him when he’s absent. You’ll be flexible across all areas and kitchen stations, working with the team to ensure smooth and professional kitchen operations.
Would you like to bring your passion for good food, your skills, and your ideas to a place where cooking is still a true craft and a labor of love?
Then you’ve come to the right place! Look forward to fresh, regional ingredients, creative cuisine, a motivated team, and plenty of room to make your culinary mark.
Come join us at ALMGUT and become part of our kitchen family—we look forward to getting to know you!

You have completed your training as a chef and, ideally, have several years of experience in upscale restaurants or the hospitality industry, as well as in a comparable leadership position. You love high-quality culinary craftsmanship, enjoy working with fresh, regional products, and bring creativity and your own ideas to menu planning. You are known for your structured, independent, and quality-conscious approach to work, as well as for your team spirit, sense of responsibility, and leadership skills. You are versatile, actively contribute to all kitchen stations, and are familiar with the relevant HACCP and hygiene standards.
