Description
As a hotel employee, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth, hygienic, and safe operation of the wellness area. Your main duties include cleaning the wellness area, assisting guests, performing steam infusions, monitoring hygiene and safety standards, and maintaining the sauna facilities. You serve as the point of contact for guests and help create a pleasant atmosphere.
Requirements
Professional Requirements & Qualifications
- Professional training: Completion of a recognized training course for sauna technicians (e.g., through the or ).
- Technical understanding: Knowledge of how sauna heaters, ventilation systems, and control systems work.
- Hygiene & Safety: Thorough knowledge of the Bathhouse Hygiene Act, first aid, and safety and accident prevention regulations.
- Infusion techniques: Proficiency in various infusion and fan techniques, as well as knowledge of the effects of essential oils.
- Language skills: Good command of German and English.
Personal & Physical Requirements
- Physical Stamina: The work takes place in an environment with high humidity and extreme temperatures.
- Service-oriented: Friendly demeanor, helpfulness, and enjoyment of direct contact with hotel guests.
- Observational skills: Vigilance to ensure safety and to detect health issues among guests early on.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
