Section Chef (m/f/d)

Are you a passionate host or hostess who can keep everything under control even during busy service times and would like to take on responsibility in the kitchen? Then you’ve come to the right place!

To strengthen our kitchen team at Hotel Zauchensee Zentral, we are looking for a dedicated individual to serve as Chef de Partie / Sous-Chef ( m/f/d).

Every day, our main kitchen treats up to 80 hotel guests to a varied 4- to 5-course set menu, including a salad bar.

You can look forward to a varied role in a unique setting. You’ll be responsible for your own station in the kitchen or, as a sous chef, assist the kitchen manager in organizing and leading the team. We value quality, team spirit, reliability, and a genuine passion for culinary arts.

Your Responsibilities

• Independent management and organization of a kitchen station
• Preparation and Presentation of High-Quality Dishes
• Ensuring that everything runs smoothly during the service
• Assist the kitchen manager in coordinating and leading the kitchen team
• Assisting with the preparation and implementation of the menu
• Monitoring quality, careful use of ingredients, and presentation
• Compliance with and Implementation of Our Quality and Hygiene Standards
• Assistance with other kitchen tasks as needed

What You'll Bring to the Table

• Good knowledge of German
• Completed training in the culinary field and, ideally, professional experience as a chef de partie or sous-chef
• A love for the profession and a passion for high-quality cuisine
• An independent, structured, and responsible approach to work
• Organizational skills and a keen eye for quality and processes
• Ability to work well with others, strong communication skills, and a passion for supporting colleagues
• Motivation, flexibility, and resilience
