Are you a host* with a heart, do you have an eye for detail, and do you make sure our guests feel welcome from the very first moment? Do you work in an organized manner, stay calm even in stressful situations, and enjoy providing professional service? Then you’re a perfect fit for us—as a Chef de Rang at Hotel Walserberg!
The weekly work schedule is 48 hours spread over 6 days. Theemployment contract begins on June 10, 2026, and is expected to run through September 25, 2026.
Your role in the team
- You manage your station with energy and ease, always keeping an eye on your guests.
- With your confident demeanor, you ensure a smooth service flow and serve as the point of contact for our guests.
- You serve food and drinks according to our standards and clear away dishes and glasses.
- Using Orderman and similar systems comes naturally to you, and booking and processing orders are no challenge for you.
- Cleanliness at the stations and in the restaurant is important to you and a given.
- For you, mise en place isn’t just a small town in southern France—it’s an essential part of your work that you take care of yourself.
Requirements
What you bring to the table
- Do you have a degree in the restaurant/hospitality industry?
- Do you enjoy organizing, contributing ideas, and motivating and guiding your team?
- Do you have impressive knowledge of wine and beverages?
- Are you a warm and welcoming host, a strong communicator, and service-oriented?
- Do you have a good sense of what guests need, a confident demeanor, and an eye for detail?
- Do your sense of responsibility and initiative set you apart?
- Do you value cleanliness, quality, and a professional demeanor—for yourself and your team?
- Are you fluent in German and English? Any additional languages are a plus
