Become a kitchen assistant at Hotel Walserberg and help us serve our guests fresh, high-quality meals every day.

 

The weekly work schedule is 48 hours spread over 6 days. Theemployment contract begins on December 7, 2026, and is expected to run through April 12, 2027.

 

Your role on the team

  • You will support the head chef and your team in their daily operations.
  • You will perform your tasks reliably and independently.
  • You handle food with care and prepare it professionally.
  • You ensure a complete mise-en-place for breakfast, dinner, and à la carte service.
  • You prepare dishes according to specifications and with attention to detail.
  • You pay attention to quality—for example, by tasting dishes and checking expiration dates.
  • You receive deliveries and check the quality and quantity of goods.
  • You comply with all hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • You adhere to our internal quality standards.
  • You ensure cleanliness and order in your workplace.

Requirements

What you bring to the table

  • Ideally, you have training or several years of experience in the kitchen and bring both expertise and creativity to food preparation. 
  • You work independently and are organized, with a focus on the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Hygiene regulations are second nature to you. 
  • You enjoy working in a team and have a passion for working with food and people.
  • You speak German fluently; knowledge of English is a plus. 
  • You present yourself well and are honest, reliable, and punctual.
