Hello there!

Are you passionate about traditional, modern cuisine and want to take on responsibility? Would you like to contribute your skills to a team that values quality, creativity and team spirit? Then you've come to the right place in the Walserberg team!

The weekly working time is 48 hours divided over 6 days. The employment relationship starts on 08.12.2025 and is expected to last until 17.04.2026

Your role in the team

  • You will work closely with the head chef and your colleagues and actively contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen team.
  • You take responsibility, work independently and bring your own initiative to your daily work.
  • You show organizational talent, especially in planning and adhering to time schedules in the kitchen.
  • You handle food consciously and sustainably and pay attention to careful processing.
  • You ensure a complete mise-en-place for the early morning, evening and à la carte service.
  • You prepare food at your assigned station professionally and with great care.
  • You are responsible for the costs and ensure that the goods are used economically.
  • You ensure the quality of the food by tasting and checking the shelf life of the products, for example.
  • You accept goods and check them carefully for quality and quantity.
  • You consistently comply with all hygiene regulations and food law provisions.
  • You comply with our internal quality standards and actively contribute to their implementation.
  • You clean your workplace regularly and ensure that it is tidy and clean.

Requirements

What you bring with you

  • Have you completed training as a chef and have several years of professional experience in the catering/hotel industry?
  • Do you enjoy showing your creativity in food design?
  • Do you have excellent specialist knowledge as well as entrepreneurial thinking and cost awareness?
  • Do you have some experience in managing your own station?
  • Your personal responsibility and initiative make you exceptional?
  • Your problem and conflict resolution skills are impressive?
  • Are you no stranger to flexibility and resilience?
  • Are you creative, open to new ideas and keen to keep developing?
  • Do you love working with others to create something great?
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, other languages are a plus.
