Description
Hello there!Are you a warm and welcoming host or hostess with an eye for detail who wants to help ensure our guests feel welcome and comfortable from the moment they arrive? Do you work meticulously, are eager to learn, and keep your cool even in hectic situations? Then you’re exactly the right fit for us as a Commis de Rang at Hotel Walserberg!
The weekly work schedule is 48 hours spread over 6 days. Theemployment contract begins on June 10, 2026, and is expected to run through September 25, 2026.
Your role on the team
- Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, which is why you’re passionate about providing our guests with exceptional service.
- In the evenings, you’ll also take care of our guests and support our head waiters in ensuring smooth service.
- Tidying up and cleaning the restaurant are important to you and come naturally
- For you, mise en place isn’t a small town in southern France, but an essential part of your work that you take care of yourself.
Requirements
What you bring with you
- Have you already gained some experience in the catering/hotel industry?
- Are you a host with heart, strong communication skills and service-oriented?
- Do you have a good feel for guests, a confident manner and an eye for detail?
- Your personal responsibility and initiative make you exceptional?
- Do you value cleanliness, quality and a professional appearance - for yourself and your team?
- Are you fluent in German and English? Any other language is a bonus
