Hello there! Areyou a warm-hearted host or hostess with an eye for detail who wants to help make our guests feel welcome and at home from the moment they arrive? Do you work carefully, are eager to learn, and keep a cool head even in hectic situations? Then you’re exactly the right fit for us as a Commis de Rang at Hotel Walserberg!
The weekly work schedule is 48 hours spread over 6 days. Theemployment contract begins on December 7, 2026, and is expected to run through April 12, 2027.
Your role on the team
- Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, which is why you’re passionate about providing our guests with exceptional service.
- In the evenings, you’ll also take care of our guests and support our head waiters in ensuring smooth service.
- Tidying up and cleaning the restaurant are important to you and come naturally
- For you, mise en place isn’t just a small town in the south of France—it’s an essential part of your work that you take care of yourself.
Requirements
What you bring to the table
- Do you already have some experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry?
- Are you a warm and welcoming host with strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset?
- Do you have a good sense of what guests need, a confident demeanor, and an eye for detail?
- Do your sense of responsibility and initiative set you apart?
- Do you value cleanliness, quality, and a professional demeanor—for yourself and your team?
- Are you fluent in German and English? Any additional languages are a plus
