As a breakfast chef, you’ll work with our team to ensure our guests start their vacation day on a delicious note. You’ll prioritize quality, freshness, locally sourced ingredients, and an appealing presentation of our dishes.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking our breakfast menu
- Preparing the afternoon snack and the salad bar for the evening
- Preparing egg dishes as well as hot and cold breakfast items
- Preparing and attractively presenting the breakfast buffet
- Continuously monitoring and restocking food items during breakfast hours
- Mise en place and preparation for the next workday
- Careful and economical handling of food
- Adherence to our quality and hygiene standards
- Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workplace
- Collaboration with the entire kitchen and service team
Requirements
Ideally, you should have the following:
- Experience in the kitchen or in preparing breakfast dishes
- Completion of a culinary training program is a plus, but not required if you have relevant experience
- A passion for working with fresh, high-quality ingredients
- An independent, organized, and clean work style
- Reliability and a sense of responsibility
- Attention to quality and an eye for attractive presentation
- Team spirit and a friendly demeanor
- Willingness to work morning shifts
- Good German language skills or sufficient language proficiency to ensure smooth collaboration within the team
