Description

Do you have a passion for fine desserts, traditional pastries, and creative sweet treats? Do you enjoy working with high-quality ingredients and combining artisanal skill with a flair for flavor and appealing presentation?

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the sweet side of our culinary offerings. From the desserts on our evening menus to homemade cakes and Tyrolean pastries, all the way to the sweet creations on our à la carte menu—you’ll use your skills to create special moments of indulgence for our guests.

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent preparation and creative design of desserts as part of our menus
  • Preparing cakes, tarts, and traditional pastries for our afternoon snack
  • Preparing and plating all desserts and sweet dishes for our à la carte restaurant
  • Developing and creating seasonal dessert creations
  • Preparing our homemade jams and fruit spreads for the breakfast buffet
  • Production and bottling of selected jams for our on-site shop
  • Preparing and organizing the daily mise en place
  • Ensuring consistently high quality and attractive presentation
  • Careful and economical handling of food and raw materials
  • Compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Close collaboration with kitchen management and the kitchen team

Requirements

Ideally, you will have the following:

  • Completed training as a pastry chef, cook, or a comparable professional qualification
  • Professional experience in a patisserie or pastry shop, preferably in the upscale hospitality or restaurant industry
  • In-depth knowledge of making desserts, cakes, tortes, and pastries
  • A passion for traditional Austrian and Tyrolean pastry cuisine as well as modern dessert creations
  • Creativity and a keen sense of taste, quality, and presentation
  • An independent, organized, and responsible work ethic
  • High standards of quality and hygiene
  • Careful and economical handling of high-quality ingredients
  • Team spirit, reliability, and a passion for working alongside a dedicated kitchen team
  • Good knowledge of German or sufficient language skills to ensure smooth collaboration within the team
