Join our small, close-knit team at the Berghotel Jaga-Alm in Zell am See! Using regional ingredients from our own farm and game, we create authentic Austrian dishes for hotel guests and à la carte diners—and we’re looking for you, an experienced chef who enjoys taking on responsibility! Regular working hours, no overtime, and room and board included.

About Us:

In a secluded location 1,200 meters above Zell am See, surrounded by stunning nature, with breathtaking views, and situated right on a hiking trail, you’ll be welcomed by a close-knit team and a kitchen that focuses on local and farm-fresh ingredients: meat from our own farm and game from the community hunt. We accommodate an average of about 80 guests, approximately 25% of whom are children, who are served half-board. In the evenings, our hotel guests can enjoy a 5-course menu of their choice with a salad, appetizer, and dessert buffet, or various themed evenings with a buffet, such as Italian or Austrian nights or a barbecue buffet. In addition, we serve approximately 60–80 guests à la carte in our restaurant during the day. Our kitchen is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., so the shift ends at 9:00 p.m.

You cook with love and passion, and preparing regional dishes such asWiener Schnitzel, Kasnockn, roast pork, and much more is no problem for you. 

Most of our ingredients come from our own farm and game, whichis sure to delight many chefs—and, of course, our guests as well.
