Description
We are looking for a chef for our family-run mountain hotel , located in a secluded spot at 1,200 meters above Zell am See .
You cook with love and passion, and preparing regional dishes such asWiener schnitzel, Kasnockn, roast pork, and much more is no problem for you.
Most of the ingredients come from our own farm and hunting grounds, whichmakes the hearts of many chefs and, of course, our guests beat faster.
Our kitchen team has the following positions available:
2 x chefs (1 vacancy)
1 kitchen assistant
1x pastry chef
1 dishwasher
Requirements
You bring a breath of fresh air and modern drive - we're always open to that too. Do you also enjoy reinterpreting buffets every day, spicing them up with vegetarian delicacies and making them a culinary highlight for your guests?
Around 80 hotel guests can be spoiled for breakfast and dinner. In our restaurant with sun terrace we also serve à la carte guests during the day (12.00-20.00).
As a cook at our family-run Berghotel Jaga-Alm, you will work very closely with your colleagues, as we are a small team with a great team spirit. You will coordinate various tasks (orders, goods control, HACCP guidelines, work processes, etc.) independently and with responsibility.
In the past years you have already gained at least 2-3 years of experience in the Austrian kitchen and the German language is NO challenge for you, you speak it at least at B2 level.
As our kitchen is open to the buffet on one side (show kitchen), you will also be in direct contact with our guests, who will be happy to be convinced and impressed by you during the preparation of the dishes.
