+++ Looking for a "Pan Whisperer" +++
We are looking for a Sous Chef (m/f/d) for our company in full-time. You’ll support our kitchen team in preparing and presenting all dishes. No à la carte menu—half-board only. We look forward to getting to know you.
Your Responsibilities:
- Standard chef duties and assisting to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Current setup: Appetizer, salad, soup, and dessert buffets; a choice of 2 or 3 main courses depending on the season, served from the kitchen
- You will prepare the appetizer buffets and assist the head chef as a sous chef.
- Active participation in cooking and preparing the menus
- Assistance with plating
- Contributing ideas to menu planning
- Compliance with and monitoring of HACCP regulations
- Careful handling of food is required
- Conscientious maintenance of temperature and cleaning logs together with the team
Requirements
- Completed training as a chef
- Several years of experience in the restaurant or hotel industry
- Creativity in food presentation and a passion for the product
- Responsible handling of food
- Ability to work independently and in an organized manner
- Compliance with HACCP regulations
- Team spirit and strong communication skills
- Enjoyment of contributing ideas
- Language skills
