• Table plan creation
• Knowledge of the cash register system to provide support and assistance if necessary
• Contribution of creativity (food and beverage offer, decoration) and new sales ideas
• Responsibility for the drinks stand in the restaurant

Employees

• Coordination of the entire restaurant area to ensure smooth operations
• Responsibility for the standards set for the service
• Distribution and control of activities
• Control of employees (cleanliness, attendance, service itself)
• Checking the stations and the restaurant for tidiness, cleanliness, mise en place
• Induction and training of new and existing employees (Chef de Rang, Commis de Rang, interns)
• Short daily briefings with all service staff
• Regular process optimization
• Implementation of training courses
• Communication with the kitchen about important information

Guest care

• Welcoming and seating guests
• Secure knowledge of the menu and drinks list, as well as daily specials and current promotions
• Professional advice to guests and active selling (aperitif, wine, digestive)
• Proper execution of booking procedures and accounting formalities
