We are looking for a qualified and motivated reception manager (m/f/d) to join our company. You can expect an interesting and responsible role within a well-established team.   • Leading, training, developing, and motivating employees
  • Conducting regular performance reviews (twice a year) – “one-on-one meetings”
  • Identifying and developing employees’ talents
  • Creating the duty roster and vacation schedule
  • Leading regular team meetings
  • Strengthen team spirit and offer praise
  • Address and resolve employee issues or misconduct
  • Addressing and resolving conflicts within the team
  • Conducting job interviews (in collaboration with management)
  • Assigning tasks and optimizing processes
  • Ensure compliance with standards
  • Ongoing quality control of service quality 
  • Monitoring, refining, and training on processes 
  • Planning training sessions (internal/external)
  • First point of contact for complaints
  • Maintaining the guest file
  • Maintenance of the equipment provided
  • Monitoring and coordinating reservation processing and correspondence
  • Monitoring and coordinating room assignments and booking status, as well as all reception-related tasks
  • Proper cash management and accounting, room checks, answering the phone, organized filing of all documents, maintaining a handover log (logbook, etc.)
  • Responsible for the efficient and professional handling of guest reception and support
  • Responsible for cleanliness and order in the reception area
  • Responsible for the proper billing of guests
  • Responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, and discipline of staff
  • Jointly responsible for the quality and positive image of the establishment
  • Exchange of information and close cooperation with management 
  • Ensuring optimal cooperation with other departments
  • Participation in the weekly department head meeting
  • Additional duties depending on business volume

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience working at the front desk in comparable hotels
  • Excellent written and spoken German

  • Proficient in using standard office and hotel software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Proficient in using the reservation system

Offer

  • Year-round position
  • Working hours: 5-day week (40 hours per week)
  • Start of work: possible immediately or by arrangement
  • Working hours: Core working hours between 09.00 and 18.00 hrs Through-duty and, if desired, part-duty possible; 2x per week until 21.00 or 22.00 hrs
