With naturalfriendliness, warmth, and extensive knowledgeof the region, the WASNERIN reception team is here to assist our guests with advice and support. Whether it’s excursion and hiking routes, insider tips on the region, or the best spots to relax in the hotel. Thanks to the digitization of our system, we now have even more time for our guests and can provide personalized service from reservation through check-out. Ultimately, however, our greatest task remains ensuring every guest enjoys a wonderful getaway so they return home at the end of the day with that WASNERIN feeling.

What can you expect from us?

  • First point of contact for our guests
  • Checking guests in and out, including escorting them to their rooms
  • Managing your own shift schedule
  • Early or late shifts with responsibility
  • Managing the cash register (closing the register, processing receipts, etc.)
  • Actively promoting the hotel’s own offers or products
  • Ensuring smooth operations within the reception team and with other departments
  • Taking and processing reservations
  • Preparing printed materials (daily menus, guest newsletters, etc.)
  • Organizing and assisting with events
  • Exemplifying and adhering to the company philosophy

Requirements

What do you bring to the table?

  • Preferably a successfully completed apprenticeship as a hotel and hospitality assistant or a degree from a hotel management or tourism school
  • Professional experience in comparable upscale restaurants or hotels
  • A communicative, creative, and open personality
  • Natural friendliness
  • Enjoy working with people
  • Enthusiasm and interest in the profession
  • Reliability
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Enjoyment of working in a team
  • Confident and well-groomed appearance
  • Excellent German language skills and proper spelling

Additional salary information
We offer you a permanent, year-round position with a 5-day, 40-hour workweek. Legal information: The minimum wage for this position, as stipulated by the collective bargaining agreement, is €2,159 gross per month. We offer a competitive salary commensurate with your qualifications and experience, as well as additional bonuses for above-average performance.
