Description
More than just a receptionist. A host for special stays.
At our properties on Lake Traunsee, we blend tradition with contemporary style. We create places for people who seek inspiration, want to slow down, and value authentic experiences.
Do you enjoy interacting with people, greet every guest with warmth, and stay on top of things even during busy moments? Do you recognize our guests’ needs and, with your attentive manner, ensure that they feel welcome from the very first moment? Then you’ve come to the right place.
Your role with us:
As a receptionist, you’re the first point of contact for our guests and the heart of our front desk. You’ll guide them from check-in to check-out, answer questions, offer personalized recommendations, and use your organizational skills and warmth to ensure a smooth stay. With your people skills, you’ll help ensure that our guests feel completely at home and are eager to return.
What you'll be doing with us:
- Ensuring and implementing quality standards in accordance with the hotel classification guidelines and the philosophy of Gröller Hospitality.
- Welcoming our guests warmly, providing guest information, and conducting personalized tours of the property.
- Close collaboration with the reservations department: recommending appropriate room categories, sustainable room assignments with a focus on energy efficiency, and optimal hotel occupancy.
- Actively informing guests about regional activities and events, as well as maintaining and updating our guest information folder.
- Sales at the front desk: Recommendations for our restaurants, the beauty and spa area, and the convenience store.
- You will serve as the central point of contact for all departments and ensure that the hotel runs smoothly.
- Ongoing coordination with supervisors and marketing and revenue managers to plan and implement sales promotion initiatives.
- Responsible management and updating of our guest data.
- Performing accounting and billing tasks with the utmost care.
- Participation in training sessions on safety-related hotel topics, such as fire alarm systems, elevator systems, and other continuing education courses.
- Support for projects and innovations, particularly in the area of digitalization, during the off-season.
What you bring to the table:
- 1–2 years of professional experience, ideally in the upscale hospitality industry.
- An open-minded person with a friendly, well-groomed, and personable demeanor.
- Outstanding time management skills, organizational skills, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in German and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- An eye for detail and a deep understanding of the demands of the luxury hotel industry.
What to Expect:
- Full board provided at work on your workdays
- Accommodations at our employee hotel, featuring a terrace and parking
- Numerous opportunities for professional and personal development.
- Share of Tips
- Providing You with High-Quality Work Clothing
- Perfect recreational activities in the region
