Requirements

You have completed appropriate training in the upscale hotel / catering industry and have already gained professional experience. Your tasks as a station waiter with collection:

À la carte service and care of hotel guests throughout the day incl. Orderman
Taking care of hotel guests in the evening (evening service)Independent management of a station with care of approx. 20 - 25 (max. 30) guests incl. independent drinks, wine and food service, wine advice
Looking after hotel guests at lunchtime and in the afternoon - drinks
Active sale of drinks incl. wine, coffee, spirits, ..
Bar service (taking & serving drinks) incl. Orderman in the atrium (no cocktails or bartender service) or breakfast service
Coffee service incl. preparation with a portafilter coffee machine
Preparation of the station incl. vacuuming, dusting, laying out, folding napkins, filling up menus, cleaning food and wine lists
Mise-en-place for the entire restaurant
Decorating tables for special occasions
Active cooperation within the team and with superiors as well as contributing to a positive work and working atmosphere
Accepting and resolving guest complaints
Participating in internal and external training courses and service meetings
Main meal service (carrying food) for the entire restaurant

Language skills

German

C1 (advanced knowledge)

Work permit: EU citizens preferred (no admission required)
Working time: Full time (5 days a week)

Offer

Year-round position: Station waiter with collection
Working hours: 5-day week at 9 hours per day (45 hours per week)
Start of work: from 13.05.2024 or possible by arrangement
Fixed days off
Working hours: Mainly through service: 12.00 - 22.00 (1 hour break); 11.30 - 16.30 & 18.00 - 22.00; 12.30 - 22.00 (30 min. break); 13.00 - 23.00 (1 hour break)or Occasional part-time: 07.00 to 11.45 & 17.30 to 22.00; 08.00 to 12.30 & 17.30 - 22.00; 10.00 to 15.00 & 17.30 to 22.00
13. and 14th wage (vacation and Christmas bonus)
Replacement rest days for public holidays worked
Precise recording of working hours
latest end of shift at 00.00 (3-4 times a week until 22.00, 1-2 times a week until 23.00 or 00.00 or early shift)
