For our family-run, year-round 4-star hotel in the beautiful Tannheimer Valley, we’re looking for a warm, dedicated, and reliable Chef de Rang to support our service team with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Tasks
Your responsibilities as a Chef de Rang:
- Your responsibilities:
- Providing warm and professional service and advice to our guests in the restaurant
- Independently managing a section in the evening, serving approximately 25–30 guests, including independently providing beverage, wine, and food service, as well as offering wine recommendations
- Taking orders for food and beverages and relaying them accurately
- Serving food and beverages
- Twice a week: bar service (taking and serving drinks), including using the Orderman system in the Atrium (no cocktails or bartending duties) or breakfast service
- Providing expert advice to our guests on the selection of food and beverages
- Ensuring a smooth and attentive service flow
- Mise en place as well as preparatory and cleanup tasks in the restaurant
- Setting and clearing tables
- Responsibility for order, cleanliness, and hygiene in your own service area
- Actively promoting and recommending food and beverages
- Caring for our guests throughout their entire visit
- Collaborating with the kitchen, bar, and the entire service team
- Assisting with events and special occasions
- Coffee service, including preparation using an espresso machine
Requirements
You have completed appropriate training in the upscale hospitality and restaurant industry and have already gained professional experience. You are interested in a year-round position and a long-term working relationship. You have a confident demeanor and a positive attitude; you’re dedicated, motivated, and flexible, and you keep your cool even during hectic times. Experience

What we offer
- Full-time position (business closed from Nov. 23, 26, to Dec. 9, 26)
- Work schedule: 5-day workweek, 9 hours per day (45 hours per week)
- Start date: Immediate or by agreement
- Fixed days off
- Shift schedule: Primarily continuous shifts: 2:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. (30-minute break); 12:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. (1-hour break); 11:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. & 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.; 12:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. (30-minute break); 1:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. (1-hour break)
- 13th and 14th paychecks (vacation pay and Christmas bonus)
- Compensatory days off for public holidays worked
- 5 weeks of vacation per year
