For our Almwellness Resort Tuffbad, we are looking for a Reception Team Leader (m/f/d) who will lead our reception team with heart, professional expertise, and a knack for the extraordinary—and who, together with us, will ensure that our guests feel welcome and valued from the very first moment. Requirements
🔹 Job Description – Reception Team Leader (m/f/d)
Professional Qualifications
- Completed training in the hospitality industry or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience at a hotel front desk or in guest services, ideally in a managerial role
- Experience in team leadership, scheduling, organization, and quality management
- Proficiency in hotel and reservation software (e.g., Fidelio, Protel, or similar)
- Very good German and English skills; additional foreign languages are a plus
- Understanding of processes and interfaces between hotel departments
Personal skills
- A leadership personality with a hands-on approach and the ability to serve as a role model
- Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a passion for direct guest interaction
- Mindfulness, appreciation, and warmth in dealing with guests and colleagues
- Organizational skills, a sense of responsibility, and strong decision-making abilities
- Friendly, professional, and solution-oriented demeanor—even in stressful situations
- Flexibility, resilience, and team spirit
Your role as Reception Team Leader
- You lead, motivate, and support the reception team in their daily operations
- You are the first point of contact for our guests—from check-in to check-out
- You ensure the smooth handling of check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest correspondence
- You coordinate communication with all departments and ensure seamless teamwork throughout the hotel
- Together with your team, you continuously improve service quality and guest service
- You embody our values— mindfulness, appreciation, humanity, positive thinking, warmth, and individuality —and convey them to the outside world every day
