Our corporate philosophy

The Traunsee – The Hotel zum See 4S and the Post am See 4S in Traunkirchen, Upper Austria, are part of Gröller Hospitality. The family-owned business is now in its third generation under the leadership of Monika and Wolfgang Gröller and, in addition to the two hotels, also includes three restaurants, the Greisslerei, catering services on the Traunkirchen event peninsula, and the Kranabethhütte on the Feuerkogel.

At Gröller Hospitality’s “Culinary Cosmos,” guests can choose between the gourmet restaurant Bootshaus, the modern tavern Poststube 1327, and the Belétage, which offers casual dining and food sharing. The common thread linking all these kitchens is an uncompromising commitment to regional ingredients. Executive Chef Lukas Nagl is Gault&Millau’s Chef of the Year 2023 and ranks number 1 on the Rolling Pin 100 Best Chefs Austria list. Head of Wine & Service Katharina Gnigler was named Sommelière of the Year 2025 by Gault&Millau.
The restaurants have received numerous awards. Leading the way is the Bootshaus, which has been awarded a Michelin star, the Green Michelin Star for sustainability, four Gault&Millau toques, and 18.5 points. In the 2026 Falstaff Restaurant Guide, the Bootshaus was awarded four forks and the highest rating of 100 points. This ranks it among the top six restaurants in Austria and makes it the regional winner in Upper Austria. Additionally, the Bootshaus is part of “50 Best Discovery.”
