Description
Spa Manager with an eye for what matters—and for what makes a difference.
Our spa is a place to arrive, take a deep breath, and recharge. It’s a retreat where well-being, quality, and personalized care come together. This is exactly where your role begins.
As a Spa Manager, you lead with calm and clarity, create structures that work in everyday operations, and—together with your team—foster an atmosphere that guests feel from the very first moment. In doing so, you combine professional expertise with leadership, organizational skills, and a keen understanding of people. You’ll continue to develop our spa area with an eye for what’s essential and what makes it special.
What you'll be doing with us:
- You will lead and coordinate your spa team and ensure clear procedures and a supportive work environment.
- You welcome our guests warmly and professionally and create an atmosphere of trust by providing personalized, expert advice.
- You will actively contribute your professional expertise to the further development of our massage and beauty services.
- You’ll perform treatments yourself—including traditional massages, hot-stone and herbal-stamp massages, as well as facial and foot reflexology massages.
- With additional expertise in areas such as osteopathy, craniosacral therapy, yoga, or Ayurveda, you can further enrich our offerings.
- You will create the weekly staff schedules, taking into account hotel occupancy, weather conditions, and your team's needs.
- In the event of staff changes or absences, you will coordinate the hiring of replacement staff and ensure that the spa operates smoothly.
- You plan and organize ongoing training and workshops and support your team in their professional development.
- You will reliably ensure compliance with labor laws as well as our hygiene, quality, and safety standards.
- You actively advise our guests on spa treatments and products, combining a service-oriented approach with a natural knack for sales.
- Together with us, you'll develop ideas for marketing and customer loyalty initiatives and play an active role in further enhancing the spa experience.
What you bring to the table:
- You have passed the relevant certification exams in the fields of cosmetology, massage, and foot care.
- You have leadership skills and management experience, and you enjoy developing and supporting a team. We would be pleased to hear from candidates with experience in the upscale hospitality industry and/or in the high-end spa and wellness sector.
- You combine a strong focus on guests and service with business acumen. You stand out for your organizational skills, your ability to plan ahead, and your keen eye for quality.
- You have a very good command of German and a very good command of English.
- You are familiar with using industry-specific business software.
- You enjoy taking on responsibility, contributing your own ideas, and working with your team to further develop our spa area.
- You are familiar with the philosophy of Gröller Hospitality, and you enjoy embodying the brand and making it a tangible experience for our guests.
What to Expect:
- Full board provided at the workplace, even on your days off
- Accommodations at our employee hotel by the lake, with a terrace and parking
- Customized training and professional development opportunities to support your professional and personal growth; opportunities to contribute your own ideas and actively shape the workplace
- Regular employee events that strengthen team cohesion
- Employee Benefits at Our Facilities: Working on Lake Traunsee—with a wide range of recreational activities right on your doorstep
- A respectful working environment within a team that embodies quality, hospitality, and teamwork
