Chef de Partie (m/f/d) Wanted for an Exclusive Ski Lodge in the Zillertal

Location: Wedelhütte or Albergo, in the heart of the Hochzillertal ski area, Tyrol, Austria
Season: December through April | 6-day workweek | 48 hours / seasonal position
2 boutique hotels with 5-star comfort | 26 and 16 beds, respectively | Daytime operations with high guest volume*
Housing and meals during working hours are provided
About us:
Our ski lodges are located at over 2,000 meters above sea level in the heart of the ski resort in the beautiful Zillertal— accessible exclusively by ski or snowboard. We combine alpine lodge charm with upscale service and place a high value on quality, hospitality, and warmth.
Requirements
What you bring to the table:
- Professional experience: Completed culinary training and references from previous employers, as well as several years of experience in à la carte or hotel kitchens.
- Commitment to Quality: A passion for high-quality cuisine, creativity, and a keen eye for detail.
- Leadership skills: Ability to efficiently manage your own station and support a team, as well as an independent, structured, and quality-conscious approach to work.
- Professional Development: Motivation to continuously improve and support the kitchen management team.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and a collaborative work style, as well as team spirit and flexibility—even when the weather isn’t cooperating.
- Appearance: Awell-groomed appearance and a positive demeanor.
- Organizational Skills: Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Commute: For winter sports enthusiasts, the commute can be made by ski or snowboard—including first and last runs on the empty slopes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supporting the kitchen management: Actively supporting the kitchen management in organizing and carrying out daily kitchen operations.
- Managing your own station: Taking responsibility for a specific station in the kitchen and ensuring smooth operations.
- Menu preparation: Preparing and cooking dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure an efficient and coordinated workflow.
- Quality assurance: Ensuring consistently high quality and presentation of dishes.
- Food Safety & Occupational Safety: Complying with HACCP hygiene regulations and occupational safety standards.
- Environmentally Conscious Work: Implementing sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the kitchen.
- Culinary Events: Supporting the kitchen team during events or culinary highlights.
