Chef de Rang / Waiter with collection (m/f/d)
📍 Place of work: Wedelhütte, Hochzillertal ski area, Tyrol, Austria
📅 Season: December to April | 6 days a week | 48 hours / seasonal position
🏨 Boutique hotel with 5-star comfort| 26 beds | daytime operation with a high number of guests*
🏠 Accommodation in the valley & meals during working hours
About us:
Our ski hut is located at over 2000 meters above sea level in the middle of the ski area in the beautiful Zillertal - only accessible on skis or snowboard. We combine alpine hut flair with upscale service and attach great importance to quality, hospitality and cordiality.
We are looking for enthusiastic, committed, professionally experienced and reliable personalities as CHEF DE RANG - with high guest frequency at lunchtime.
Requirements
YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Professional competence - sound knowledge of gastronomy, especially wine and food knowledge as well as very good Orderman knowledge
- Completed gastronomic training, 3 years of experience and passion in à la carte service, Orderman experience
- High level of personal responsibility for your own station and management function
- Motivation and team spirit
- Ability to work under pressure, stress resistance and flexibility are a matter of course for you (crowds of guests during rush hour, high alpine weather caprioles, ...)
- Enthusiasm for wine & culinary delights - vinophile understanding (our wine list includes over 400 items, highest wine cellar)
- Enjoy working in nature and willingness to travel by ski every day
- Eye for detail (decoration for birthday parties, etc.)
- Well-groomed appearance and polite, professional manners
Your tasks
- Preparation, organization and follow-up of the station (200 seats indoor, 500 seats outdoor) to ensure fast and efficient service.
- Responsibility for a smooth service process at your station and close cooperation with the restaurant management
- Close cooperation with kitchen, bar and other service staff
- Friendly service of guests (DE, EN): You keep track of your tables even in the turbulent lunch business and serve the guests from arrival to departure with a friendly smile!
- Attention to guest requests: Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through attentive and professional service - from skiers to vinophile guests
- Complaint management: You pass on guest feedback directly to our restaurant management and respond professionally according to set rules
- Menu & wine recommendations: Competent advice to guests on menu and wine selection
- Hygiene & safety: You ensure cleanliness, order and compliance with all applicable regulations - day after day
- Employee management: Support and guidance of the assigned Commis de Rang, including induction, training and supervision
- Loyalty to the company / discretion in dealing with guests
