Commis de Rang (m/f/d)
📍 Job location: Wedelhütte, Hochzillertal ski area, Tyrol, Austria
📅Season: December to April | 6 days a week | 48 hours / seasonal position
🏨 Boutique hotel with 5 comforts| 26 beds | daytime operation with a high number of guests*
🏠 Accommodation in the valley & meals during working hours
About us:
Our ski hut is located at over 2000 meters above sea level in the middle of the ski area in the beautiful Zillertal. We combine alpine hut flair with upscale service and attach great importance to quality, hospitality and warmth.
For the coming winter season we are looking for a motivated Commis de Rang (m/f/d) who supports our service team with a lot of enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Requirements
What you bring with you
A high level of commitment, courage, cordiality and a pinch of adventure!
- Completed training in gastronomy or initial practical experience in the service sector
- Willingness to learn
- Initial experience in dealing with guests in a charming and attentive manner
- Appearance: A well-groomed positive appearance with fun at work
- Stress resistance and flexibility (crowds of guests during rush hour, high alpine weather caprioles,...)
Not afraid of snow flurries :)
Your tasks
- Preparation of mise-en-place and follow-up of the station (200 seats indoor, 500 seats outdoor, setting, cutlery,...)
- Support of the Chef de Rang in the supervision of a station in the upscale à-la-carte service
- Close cooperation with kitchen, bar and other service staff
- Friendly service of guests (DE, EN): Serving food and drinks in the busy lunch business!
- Attention to guest requests
- Hygiene & safety: You pay attention to cleanliness, order and compliance with all applicable regulations - day after day.
- Loyalty to the company / discretion in dealing with guests
- Language skills

- Top pay: From € 2,900 gross/month, above the collective agreement, depending on qualifications.
