Commis de Rang (m/f/d)

📍 Location: Wedelhütteor Albergo—in the heart of the Hochzillertal ski resort, Tyrol, Austria

📅Season: December through April | 6-day workweek | 48 hours/ seasonal position

🏨 2 boutique hotels with 5-star comfort| 26 and 16 beds, respectively | Daytime operations with high guest volume* 

🏠 Accommodation in the valley & meals provided during working hours 

About us:

Our two ski lodges are located at over 2,000 meters above sea level in the heart of the Hochzillertal ski resort in the beautiful Zillertal Valley. We combine alpine lodge charm with upscale service and place a high value on quality, hospitality, and warmth.

Requirements

What you bring to the table:

A strong commitment, courage, warmth, and a dash of a spirit of adventure!

  • Professional training: Completed training in the service industry or initial experience as a commis de rang—ideally in upscale dining.
  • Service-Orientation: A keen sense of our guests’ needs and a strong commitment to service.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills in German and/or English, as well as the ability to keep a cool head even in challenging situations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and integrate quickly into an existing team.
  • Appearance: A well-groomed appearance and a positive demeanor.
  • Organizational skills: Strong organizational abilities and an eye for detail.
  • Commute: For winter sports enthusiasts, the commute can be made on skis or a snowboard—including first and last runs on the empty slopes.

     

    Your Responsibilities

  • Guest Service: Assist the service staff in caring for and serving guests to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Mise en Place: Preparing the service area, including organizing and setting tables, as well as laying out dishes and cutlery.
  • Service: Assisting with serving food and beverages in accordance with the restaurant’s standards.
  • Communication: Working closely with the Chef de Rang and restaurant management to ensure a smooth service flow.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with service standards and assisting in the implementation of quality guidelines.
  • Hygiene & Order: Maintaining and cleaning the work area and adhering to hygiene regulations.
