Description
- Head Waiter/Waitress for Hotel Restaurant & Hotel Bar
- Shift schedule with continuous service (i.e., no split shifts)
- Preparing mise en place at the hotel bar and in the restaurant
- Assisting with setting tables for hotel guests (breakfast or dinner, no à la carte)
- Assisting with evening service in the restaurant—providing professional beverage and food service
- Thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu(s)
- Proper handling of booking procedures and billing formalities at the cash register
- Proper use, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment and materials
- Responsibility for order and cleanliness throughout the entire work and restaurant area
- Professional handling of customer complaints
- Contribution of personal ideas and creativity
- Compliance with hygiene guidelines in accordance with HACCP
Requirements
- Several years of practical experience in the hospitality industry
- Self-motivated and high-quality work ethic
- A professional demeanor and friendly interaction with guests and colleagues
- Passion for working in the restaurant and hotel bar and for interacting with guests
- High flexibility, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to handle pressure
- 5- or 6-day workweek possible!
