Description

Join our team as F&B Manager - from mid-July or by arrangement!

As part of your new job, you will provide caring and empathetic service to guests in our 5* hotel in Oberlech am Arlberg.

The minimum wage for our F&B position is above the collective agreement:

3.200 € net per month for a working time of 48h/6 days per week.

How much higher your actual salary at Hotel Sonnenburg will be is best discussed in person.

Your area of responsibility:

  • Sales and cost responsibility, especially in the Food & Beverage area
  • direct exchange and cooperation with Managing Director Waltraud Hoch
  • Host role and contact person for guests and employees in the F&B area and beyond
  • Quality assurance
  • Use of various systems (Rota, Fidelio, Hotelkit,...)
  • Organization of the F&B teams in cooperation with department heads and HR
  • Budget and cost responsibility
  • Purchasing/goods flow and inventories
  • close exchange with suppliers and business partners
  • much more

Requirements

What you bring with you:

  • English spoken and written
  • gastronomic training and professional experience in the F&B sector
  • Flourish in the role of host
  • Management responsibility, discretion and strong communication skills
  • Enjoy working with people
  • Knowledge of costing and budgeting
  • Organizational talent and quality awareness
  • confident handling of Microsoft programs

What culinary experience can guests expect when they come from all over the world to Hotel Sonnenburg***** at almost 1,700 m above sea level? We in the kitchen team know: authentic cuisine! We cook fresh. We present dishes that emphasize the basic product. In our two main culinary focuses - the half-board menu and the à la carte terrace - we serve dishes that have a regional connection. Here, too, the team consists of up to 25 employees.
