As Head of Building Services (m/f/d), you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth technical operation of the entire hotel and making sure that all behind-the-scenes processes run perfectly. You’ll serve as the central point of contact for all technical matters and ensure that our guests can always count on the highest standards of quality and safety.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overall responsibility for the hotel’s technical building systems, as well as those of the Berglift B&B, Arkadenhof, and Parkvilla
  • Planning, coordinating, and supervising all repair and maintenance work
  • Management and supervision of external contractors and service providers
  • Monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of all technical systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, lighting, etc.)
  • Organizing order, safety, and cleanliness throughout all outdoor and technical areas
  • Responsibility for garden maintenance, winter services, and outdoor facilities
  • Coordinating guest transfers and assisting with luggage service
  • Budget and cost control in the technical department
  • Ensuring compliance with legal regulations (e.g., fire safety, hygiene, equipment inspections)

 

YOU’RE A GOOD FIT FOR US IF YOU... 

  • have completed a trade or technical apprenticeship (e.g., electrical engineering, HVAC, plumbing, or similar)
  • Have experience in building services engineering, building systems, or facility management
  • hold a Class B driver’s license (manual transmission required)
  • ideally also have a tractor driver’s license (Class F)
  • have very good German language skills
  • ideally have additional qualifications such as swimming pool water treatment or certification as a fire safety officer
  • are technically skilled and work in a solution-oriented manner
  • possess leadership qualities, take initiative, and have strong organizational skills
  • are a team player and can also make decisions independently
  • have a professional demeanor and enjoy working with people

Requirements

Delight our guests in the premium segment. Ideally, you have completed a trade apprenticeship; technical skill and the ability to think and act independently come naturally to you. You enjoy interacting with people and have a neat and professional appearance. You enjoy handling small repair jobs, gardening tasks, and winter maintenance, and you take responsibility for keeping your work area clean. You stay on top of daily operations and hold a Class B driver’s license for transporting guests. Are you resilient, flexible, and do you speak good German and possibly English?
