Receptionist for our B&B Berglift with breakfast service (30 or 40 hours per week) (m/f/d)

Description

Are you a HOST?  

You love interacting with people, enjoy working as part of a team, and can keep your cool even on hectic days. Do you enjoy making guests’ wishes come true and solving problems, and do you delight our guests with genuine warmth and expertise? Do you have excellent written and spoken German and English skills, are you able to handle pressure, flexible, and detail-oriented? Then we look forward to receiving your application.

We’re looking for an all-around team member starting in late November or early December.

 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Preparing and staffing the breakfast buffet in the morning
  • Providing friendly guest service during breakfast
  • Checking guests in and out at the front desk
  • Processing reservations, inquiries, and emails
  • Preparing invoices and managing the cash register
  • Advising our guests on activities, excursions, and thermal spas
  • General organizational tasks 

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have completed vocational training in business or tourism
  • You have experience in breakfast service or at the front desk—ideally both
  • You’re interested in learning new things
  • You have good manners and a neat, professional appearance
  • You are flexible
  • You have the ability to stay calm even in stressful situations

  • Experience in reception and/or breakfast service—ideally both
  • Enjoy working with people and have a warm, friendly demeanor
  • An independent and organized work style
  • Good German language skills; English skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of hotel software (e.g., easybooking) is a plus
  • Willingness to work morning shifts
