Your First Steps into the World of Cooking.
We’re looking for you to start immediately or by arrangement.
Do you enjoy cooking, like trying new things, and want to learn how to turn good ingredients into truly great dishes?
Then you’ve come to the right place. At VALARA, you’ll learn the art of cooking from the ground up and be part of our kitchen team right from the start. We’ll show you the different stations, teach you how to handle ingredients properly, and gradually give you more responsibility.
It’s not just about learning and watching— you’ll be expected to pitch in, experiment, and grow.
What to expect:
- A 3-year apprenticeship with block instruction
- You’ll get to know all the key areas and stations in our kitchen.
- You’ll work with fresh, regional, and seasonal ingredients.
- You’ll learn different preparation methods and cooking techniques.
- You’ll learn what matters most when it comes to flavor, quality, and presentation.
- You’ll be an active member of the kitchen team right from the start.
- Experienced chefs will guide you and share their knowledge with you.
- We’ll cover your boarding costs during your apprenticeship.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- You’ll assist with the preparation and cooking of our meals.
- You’ll work with the team to set up your mise-en-place.
- You’ll learn about the different kitchen stations.
- You’ll help prepare and plate our dishes.
- You’ll learn how to properly store, prepare, and use ingredients effectively.
- Together with your team, you’ll ensure quality and smooth kitchen operations.
- You’ll keep your workstation tidy and clean.
- You’ll learn about and implement our hygiene and HACCP standards.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of 9th grade
- An interest in cooking and good food
- Enjoyment of learning new things
- Good knowledge of German
- Reliability and a meticulous work ethic
- Respectful handling of food and work materials
- Team spirit and a willingness to work together
- Language skills
