We’re looking for you to start immediately or at a time to be arranged.
Do you enjoy being around people, love interacting with guests, and want to learn what makes for truly great service?
At VALARA, you’ll learn step by step how professional and warm hospitality works. From breakfast through daily operations to evening service, you’ll be part of our team and learn everything about service, food, beverages, and wine.
We’ll guide you from the very beginning, share our knowledge with you, and support you as you take on more and more responsibilities on your own.
What to expect:
- A 3-year apprenticeship with block instruction
- You’ll get to know all the key areas of our restaurant and hotel bar.
- We’ll teach you professional food and beverage service from the ground up.
- You’ll learn everything you need to know about food, beverages, and wine.
- You’ll learn how to properly advise and personally attend to guests.
- You’ll be an active member of our service team right from the start.
- Experienced colleagues will guide you and share their knowledge with you.
- We’ll cover your boarding costs during your apprenticeship.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- You’ll support our service team in taking care of our guests.
- You’ll learn how to warmly welcome and assist guests.
- You’ll assist with breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- You’ll learn how to properly serve food and beverages.
- You’ll get to know our food, beverage, and wine menus step by step.
- You’ll prepare the mise en place together with your team.
- You’ll help set up and manage our buffets.
- You’ll learn how to properly handle glasses, cutlery, and service equipment.
- You’ll gain insight into the work at our hotel bar.
- Together with your team, you’ll ensure everything is neat and clean.
- You’ll learn about our hygiene and HACCP standards and put them into practice.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of 9th grade
- Enjoy working with people
- Good knowledge of German
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Interest in the food and beverage industry, food, and drinks
- A passion for learning new things
- Reliability and a meticulous work ethic
- Team spirit and a professional appearance
- A respectful attitude toward guests and colleagues
