For our restaurant, Troadkastn, in Saalbach, we are looking for an assistant chef / breakfast chef to support our kitchen team in their daily operations and, in particular, to take on responsibility for breakfast service.

In the morning, you’ll be responsible for preparing our breakfast dishes and helping to staff the buffet. You’ll also assist with preparations for the evening service and support our kitchen team wherever you’re needed.

This position is listed as a seasonal position—with the hope of a long-term collaboration spanning several summer and winter seasons.

You'll be working the traditional split shift—breakfast and dinner.

• Breakfast: Preparationand cooking of breakfast items; setting up and ongoing supervision of the breakfast buffet; preparation of egg dishes and other hot breakfast items; ensuring quality, freshness, and appealing presentation; preparation for the next breakfast service

• Preparation & Kitchen: Food preparation and processing; mise en place for daily kitchen operations; assisting with the preparation and cooking of dishes for the evening service; supporting the head chef in day-to-day kitchen operations; working independently within one’s assigned area of responsibility

• Order & Hygiene: Adherence toour hygiene, quality, and safety standards; maintaining cleanliness and order at your own workstation and in the kitchen area; assisting with general cleaning tasks in the kitchen; handling food, merchandise, and work equipment with care and responsibility

• Experience in the kitchen or the restaurant industry

• Experience in the breakfast kitchen is a plus

• Cooking skills and a passion for preparing food

• An independent, organized, and structured approach to work

• Reliability and a Sense of Responsibility

• Team spirit and a willingness to pitch in wherever help is needed

• High standards of hygiene and quality

• Load Capacity and Flexibility

• Willingness to work part-time

• Very good English or German language skills to ensure effective communication in day-to-day work
