Requirements

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading and developing our reception team (front and back office)
  • Ensuring that everything runs smoothly throughout the entire reception area
  • Providing a warm welcome and professional service to our guests
  • Handling check-in and check-out procedures and managing the front desk cash register
  • Preparing quotes and invoices, and maintaining guest records
  • Receiving and processing reservations via phone, email, and online booking platforms
  • Room assignments and optimal occupancy management
  • Working closely with management and the entire leadership team
  • Preparing daily and monthly financial statements, as well as ongoing coordination and collaboration with the external accounting department Active communication and quality assurance across all hotel departments
  • Preparing duty rosters and staff scheduling
  • Ensuring professional guest service of the highest standard

What You Bring to the Table

  • Completed training in the hospitality industry or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience at a hotel front desk, ideally in a leadership role
  • A passion for the upscale hospitality industry and genuine hospitality skills
  • A passion for ensuring guests have an unforgettable stay
  • A confident and warm demeanor—even when dealing with demanding guests
  • Organizational skills, a sense of responsibility, and the ability to take initiative
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Very good computer skills (ASA, online booking platforms, and MS Office)
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for working as part of a team
