Description
Looking for a Deputy Front Desk Manager (m/f/d)
Do you not only think along with us, but also ahead of us? Do you keep track of things even when others have long since lost sight of the big picture? Welcome to our family! Things here are warm, down-to-earth, and sometimes a little wild—just like in any good family. And sure, we’re proud to be a 5-star hotel, but here’s how we roll: put titles aside, roll up your sleeves, and be a host.
As Deputy Front Desk Manager, you’re not just strong on the operational side—you’re the organizational backbone, a strategic thinker, a source of inspiration, and the right-hand person to our Front Desk Manager.
Your Mission
• Co-pilot with the big picture: You support our front desk manager on organizational and strategic matters and keep an eye on the big picture—from occupancy to team structure.
• Strategist & Pricing Architect: You actively participate in offer and pricing design (ASA / Brandnamic / Tramino), analyze numbers, and think entrepreneurially.
• Process optimizer: You question existing workflows, contribute new ideas, and tackle issues proactively—for you, innovation isn’t just a buzzword, but a mindset.
• Team Motivator: You lead with heart and clarity, support your team in their day-to-day work, and take responsibility when it matters.
• Hands-on Operational Expert: Of course, you also pitch in with day-to-day operations—whether it’s guest correspondence, channel management, or complex reservation requests.
Requirements
What you bring to the table
• Hotel management with vision: Completed training in hotel management and several years of experience at the front desk or in reservations
• Entrepreneurial mindset: You understand numbers, recognize potential, and act in the best interests of the company as a whole.
• A calm presence in a storm: Even when things get hectic, you keep a clear head and make strong decisions.
• Sales talent: You spot opportunities before they’re even mentioned and develop offers that delight guests—with tact rather than pressure.
• A team player with heart: For you, leadership means being a role model, offering support, and growing together.
• Professional demeanor: A sense of style, reliability, and a sense of responsibility come naturally to you.
